Are you open all year?
Most of the year we are open seven days a week, for lunch and evening as well as all day on Sunday.
We may shut one or two days throughout the year for maintenance, keep an eye on our Facebook page as real time updates are uploaded there!
During December we are open up to and including Christmas Eve, but then we do close for a few days so everyone can have Christmas at home. We re-open for the New Years Eve celebrations!
Do you do vouchers?
Yes we do! Whether its for £1 or £100 you can get a Shire Inn gift voucher. It’s a perfect foodie present and is valid for 12 months from date of issue.
We can even organise these over the phone if you’re calling from far away and for P&P we can send them out to you!
Do you do Takeaway?
We do! We offer takeaway carvery and puddings, so you don’t have to miss your favourite TV shows!
Just give us a ring to order and arrange a collection time!
do you do outside catering?
Unfortunately not at the moment, but you never know! We do however have several rooms here that can be hired for a function, and offer a wide range of buffets and set menus to suit everyone!
Do you do weddings?
Yes we do! We love weddings here at The Shire Inn, whether its an intimate affair or a big family gathering (we can hire out the whole place for exclusive use!) your guests will be well cared for here. Get in touch and we can put together a detailed quote for you.
How do we find you?
We are just outside of Camborne on the road towards Praze and Beeble, we’re only about 5 minutes off the Camborne West exit of the A30.
Not going to lie, SATNAV in Cornwall is a little hit and miss, but it does do a pretty good job of getting you here, just type in our postcode TR14 0RT
If you’re coming from Clowance Estate just drive through Praze and Beeble towards Camborne and we are on the right hand side!
Do you allow dogs?
Yes! Here at The Shire Inn we love having your four legged friends join you. We have an area in the bar designated for people with pooches, just let us know you are bringing yours and we will have a table ready for you there!
Do you cater for gluten free?
Definitely! Almost everything on our menu can be adapted, including our carvery. We have gluten free Yorkshires and gravy; just let the waitress know when you order so the chefs can prepare these for you!
Do you have vegetarian/vegan options?
Yes we do! The Shire Inn’s menu has a range of different options to cater for every dietary preference/requirement. Check out our menu pages to see what is on offer at the moment!
Our roast potatoes are cooked in vegetable oil too so you don’t have to miss out and we have veggie gravy!
