Springtime at The Shire Inn

Here at The Shire Inn we love Spring! The weather is warming up, a little bit, and we can start to make use of our beer garden again, instead of huddled around our cosy fire it’s time to get out the deck chairs and bask in the glorious Cornish Spring Sun (maybe bring a coat, it’s not the Med after all!)

With the daffodil farm surrounding us in full bloom, it really does create such a beautiful setting, just far enough into the countryside to feel secluded but close enough to all the main roads that there’s nothing stopping you from coming down and saying hi!

It won’t be long before we have our stunning Summer hanging baskets back out the front, and the flowers in the garden are starting to make an appearance, hopefully anyway, no one would call me a gardener!

The Shire Inn really does start to become alive this time of year, let’s just hope there isn’t another Spring time snow storm!

The chefs are working on a new Summer menu so watch this space, and (scarily, it’s painful having to think about Christmas this early in the year!!) our Christmas Party Menu will be available in the next month, so keep checking our Christmas page for updates on that!

Anyway, enough about December, I’m off to finish my sun downer on the patio!
